Why Skinorae exists

The skin is a mirror. What you see on the surface is a reflection of what’s happening within.
— Ayurvedic principle

Inflammatory acne rarely responds to more aggression at the surface. It responds to understanding what’s driving it.

Skinorae was built on that principle, at a time when most acne clinic still stops at the skin. Treatment here works with the gut, the nervous system, and the body’s internal patterns through clinical science and an Ayurvedic lens.

Because that’s where inflammatory acne so often begins.

The programs at Skinorae are thorough in a way that takes real time, multiple layers of assessment, clinical nuance, and sustained support.

That's why Skinorae accepts a limited number of clients by application, so that care never becomes a compromise."

Skinorae’s Philosophy

Skinorae’s philosophy is simple: skin heals best when it is understood, not rushed along. This clinic exists at the meeting point of clinical science, Ayurveda, and nervous-system–aware care, with every protocol designed to protect the barrier and respect the person behind the skin.

How we work

We work with a very limited number of clients at a time because this level of assessment and sustained support cannot be done well at volume.

Every plan starts with a thorough assessment. We move methodically, adjust based on your response, and keep treatment grounded in both science and Ayurvedic principle. The aim is for you to feel at ease in your skin, not judged, rushed, or ashamed of it.

What stays with you

You leave with more than a protocol: a clearer understanding of your skin, practical tools you can keep using, and a calmer way of caring for yourself over time.

Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Salmeen. I’m the founder of Skinorae.

I am a licensed esthetician with a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Nanotechnology, and additional training in Ayurvedic and gut-health nutrition.

For as long as I can remember, my own skin has been a project in patience. I’ve lived with seborrheic dermatitis for years. I know what it’s like to cycle through prescriptions, flare without warning, and feel as if your skin has a life of its own.

That experience shaped how I think about inflammation: it isn’t a sign you’re doing something wrong. Often it’s your body asking for a different kind of attention.

My work has always circled the same question: why does inflammatory acne keep coming back, even when someone is “doing everything right” on the surface? Over time, with clients and in my own life, I saw how harsh routines and quick fixes often make things louder, not better.

So I built Skinorae, to offer another option. One that treats acne as a conversation between the skin, the gut, and the nervous system.

Here, we take time to understand your story and your health before building a plan, so treatment feels calm, considered, and actually sustainable for you.
